The short version

SolarGenCompare publishes comparison tables for portable power stations and solar generators. There are no accounts, no logins, and no forms that collect your personal information. This page explains the few things outside our direct control: affiliate link tracking, advertising cookies, and the infrastructure that serves this site.

What we don't collect

We don't require or offer account creation. We don't ask for your name, email address, or any payment information. Browsing and comparing products on this site doesn't submit any personal data to us.

Affiliate links and tracking

Comparison tables and product pages on this site contain affiliate links. When you click one, you're redirected through an affiliate network (such as Impact, Awin, or CJ Affiliate) before reaching the retailer's site. Those networks may set a tracking cookie to record that the visit came from SolarGenCompare, so that we can earn a commission if you make a purchase — at no extra cost to you. We don't receive or store any information about what you buy; the affiliate network and retailer handle that transaction directly. Advertising cookies (Google AdSense)

This site may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites, and to measure ad performance.

Infrastructure & logs (Cloudflare)

SolarGenCompare is served through Cloudflare's network. Like most web infrastructure providers, Cloudflare may process standard technical data — such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps — for security, performance, and abuse-prevention purposes. This is infrastructure-level logging, not something SolarGenCompare itself collects or has access to for tracking individual visitors. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.

Analytics

We don't run any first-party analytics or visitor-tracking scripts on this site beyond what's described above for advertising and affiliate tracking.
